    Can I ask some recommendation to use pushover.js to send messages on twitter/facebook?

    Either nolageek or Android8675 was using pushover sometime within the past couple of years. (Sorry I've forgotten which of you it was.) If they're watching, they may have some input.

    My recollection is that it's for pushing notifications to a device (like a smartphone) that's running their client, rather than for pushing stuff to other services like facebook or twitter. What are you actually hoping to do?

    I see in twitter the notification coming from some BBS advertising login/log off/mail tossing etc from synchronet and just wondering how to do it.

    My guess would be that these systems are running scripts or command-line utilities that interact with Twitter's API. I don't think pushover would be used here (but I may be wrong).

    I couldn't recommend a particular tool for the job, but perhaps sysops who are already doing this would share what they're using. It should be possible to make a twitter API client for Synchronet; if that's something people want, I could look into it.

    Huh? I hope EC knows what your talking about, because I'm lost.. Pushing MSG text to FB, Twitter, ETC? I think FB has an API??

    Something like that for use REST API to connect Twitter but just wondering how to make it.

    Thats a question for the JS guys for sure, I'm not that efficient with it yet, slowly getting results daily though, wish I could help you more.

    So, I just made this:

    http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/xtrn/twitter/

    There's some info in the readme.txt file there. It could be a bit easier to use, but there's enough to get started with.
