• Mystic system with 2 node numbers in the same net?

From Wilfred van Velzen@2:280/464 to All on Wed Jul 26 21:10:16 2017
    Hi All,

There is a new host in AmigaNet running mystic. He has trouble configuring both
his host number and node number in mystic at the same time, and getting it working right. Is that possible at all in mystic? If yes, tips please! ;)

    Bye, Wilfred.

If I understand your question correctly he just needs to add both as echomail addresses in his config

Not sure if I understand the situation correctly. If by host you mean his Amiganet feed? Then that AKA as well as any other Amiganet AKA's that he might be exporting mail to would be in the Echomail Nodes setup while his system AKA would be in his system setup.

If however if you mean that he has two Amiganet AKA's.(I.E. Host AKA and node AKA). Then they both would be listed under "Echomail Addresses"

The latter. And that seems simple enough... But I'm not sure what his exact problem is. I was hoping he is connected here, so he can explain for himself, but I don't know if he is...

    Bye, Wilfred.

and put his node number first as that is his main address and *all* others are AKAs... even in other networks...

Yes, he needs to add 2 seperate addresses, using his host address as his AKA for the network and his export address, then he has to add his node address
as a normal export node and toss from the hose address to his node address along with the rest of his host downlinks. It's basically like he is getting his Amiganet feed from himself tossing from his host address to all nodes
    under 902/*

Hope that makes sense.. if not I can login to Carlos's BBS when he is
available to give me sysop access and I can set it up for him
