  • Help with dupe check

    Hello everybody.

    As some of you may already know, my system has been affected by disaster and I am rebuilding it from scratch.

    In order to restore my message base again, I have configured my Fido uplink into the Nodes configuration and sent a netmail to Areafix asking for a full rescan. It was successful, however I noticed that the message base was built without any message from my system.

    Later checking the folders, all messages that were originated from my board were into the DUPES area.

    Is there a way to disable dupe checking when importing such a massive package of messages?

    does the config.ini have a "nodupes" keyword? ISTR one for at least one package... another option would be to remove the dupes database and then import... but they may also be being caught by your address being listed in the
    seenbys and/or path lines...

    If you need a rescan of all the Spanish echos I have them here... and I am rescanable on most English echos going back 5 years or more.
