Ok, coming back to Mystic again so I have a question. Does anyone
here have the Ambrosia game installed. I'm now working on a 64 bit machine so I decided to try some door32.sys capable games or utils.
When I set up the menu item to call it in... the system goes into
never never land. Anyone out there have a call to this game that
works like it's supposed to? Also, can you recomend any other
door32.sys games or utils to work with Mystic.
Hello Gaylen,
Unless those games are Win32 compatible (which I don't think they are,
as they are still DOS executables) they still won't work on a 64bit Windows system unless you use a DOS emulator (ie: DOSBox), no matter if they use door32.sys or not.
I guess that makes sense, however I have found that Ambrosia,Jezebel
and the GAC collection of door32.sys gamed do run in local mode. The instructions and or call to the doors in the docs for the game doesn't quite work. My guess is that if you can run it locally on a 64 bit
system you should be able to make it work via Mystic as well. Unfortunately I've tried a few different things but none seem to work.
:( The point being... if anyone has gotten any of these to work... a
hint or two would be nice. :)
i guess the first obvious question is what command lines have you tried
in mystic?
how do they compare to the command lines you use for local mode?
