There was some genuine humor in the way Brosnan played it, too, so
between he and Moore, they are a tough act follow and you already know what I thinko of Connery.

I think of Brosnan as a softer version of the more comedic Moore.
He was more in the direction of the hard nosed portrayal I see in
Craig's style.

Perhaps. I can't seem to pull the trigger on a Bond movie with Craig in it. I did like him in Cowoys and Aliens. Thank the Lord it wasn't directed by Ridley

Hard pressed to pick a favourite one but SkyFall for it's plot etc. has been high on my list and GoldenEye was also good.

I haven't seen Skyfall yet. I'm not exactly a fan of Craig, but I'll
give it a look. For Your Eyes Only had everything in it.

Skyfall worked for me because I took characters well established by
the preceding two films (also with Craig) and shook things up. It
was a risky move on the part of the producers and those that hold
the franchises IP but also necessary to do IMHO as actors and
actresses want to move on from a franchise sooner or later. It also
worked for me as theme song was on a par with Shirley Bassey
'Goldfinger' for power and emotional impact, especially when you
review it after experiencing the plot. Lastly I liked it as it had
homages to past Bond history... you will enjoy a vehicular tip of
the hat when you see it.

That paragraph may get me to change my mind, but just now it's focused on a book actor Robert Wagner wrote named "I Lover Her in the Movies" and season 3 of "Bosch". "Bosch" is sprinkled with F-bombs, but the acting and the scripts keep a guy who was brought up the way I was interested. Language like that around the house was verboten and that's the way I raised my children.
