    I watched a video recently on tipping that said young, good looking, blondes made the most tips. Esp those who made eyes and smiled at the male customers at lot. (A lot of that is just part of the act, not that they are interested in the customer per se).

    I suppose that could be true in some cases.... :) There are some
    customers that are more discerning, though... ;)

    Also that those who do the hot dirty work in the kitchen aren't
    tipped and those are the ones who do all the hard work.

    Sometimes the tips are shared with the kitchen.... At a regular
    restaurant, though, the waitress/waiter can also be doing some hard
    work... those trays filled with food aren't exactly light... And a good waitperson earns the tip by being observant and meeting the needs of the customer, not just flirting... :)

    I wish they would be observant and see I have a mouth full of food before asking "Is everything ok" then dashing off before a reply can be made. LOL
    This is in all restaurants with any sort of server, be it sit down or counter, etc. I think its something all servers are taught or soon learn.

    You'd think... <G> Perhaps they are being observant... but it would be
    nice if the observation would lead them to give you a moment to be able
    to respond... ;) Of course, one could have a slightly less full mouth,
    and be able (yeah, I know, still rudely) to respond blurrily... ;)
