Maybe you need to do something like that for any miscreants when you threaten a feed cut. <G>

Never done that and no need to with this group.
When I was working full time I knew several supers who would write someone up
for the least little thing. (I had one who if you disagreed with him, for whatever reason, wrote people up for insubordination).
In the 10 years or so of being a super I never once wrote anyone up. I would threaten once in a while, "if you don't do X I'll write you up" and that usually took care of any problem. And these were minor things.
If there were problems it was settled "in house" and my bosses never knew. If they were told it was off the record and FYI.
There were a couple of times someone was fired, but not by me. I merely relayed information and the two or three it happened to had a record of not doing the right thing.
I can only recall off hand two events.
One was being the super of a group of extras (hired for that one post for that event) who just before Christmas one year decided to make a little extra pocket money renting spaces on a large lot at a basketball game for some extra cash. He rented a space to the wrong person. That person contacted the owner and the cops and the guy was arrested and dismissed. I had no idea anything had happened until it was nearly over since I was off doing super stuff.
Another was one who filed a false workers comp claim. I found out soon after the event and contacted my superior officer.
The guy claimed he had fallen and hurt his back, wrote a report, went to the
hospital, etc. But at once things didn't add up. One thing led to another and
he was seen later, when he was in such pain and agony, carrying heavy items, etc. It wasn't his first time doing this and was a guest of the state for a while.

You and Nancy Backus have us "well trained". <G>

Nowadays, people are offended by the tiniest thing.

I heard of a similar instance of a guy on disability...they caught him climbing a ladder, working on his roof. Needless to say, the payments
stopped, and I don't know if he had pay that back or not.
