Howdy! Daryl,
I don't know if You have this BBS Network on Your The Thunderbolt BBS,
and can read these message in it.
When I read this Joke of the Day I IMMEDIATELY thought of You.
You do like Blonde Jokes don't You?
If You don't like this one maybe someone else in the Conference will like it.
I *think* that jokemaster also posted that one in the ILINK humor MP>conference. That is where I read it, and I also thought of Daryl! :D
I think Daryl is on ILINK.

Ed,

I get these from some of the other comedy echoes.
Here's one for you...
A blonde calls AAA, telling them that she has locked her keys in her car. When told an agent will be there in 10 to 15 minutes, she lamented "Please tell them to hurry!! The top is down, and it's starting to
rain"!! (hi hi).

Howdy! Daryl,
I like some of those Jokes I see posted on the echo and save them, some EV>of the others I don't consider to be humorous.
At one time in my life I may had thought so, but not now.
A friend at Church told me he reads Dumb Blonde stories on a website.
It was a long time ago and I don't remember the link, but You probably EV>already know the website, don't You?
I think Daryl is on ILINK.
I am...I have several messages each day to reply to.

Offhand, no. But, I understand that a brunette between two blondes is
an interpreter. <G>

That is a cute one, thanks for sharing it.
I checked Firefox History and found the website my friend told me about.

I'll have to get that and forward it to a friend I know on Facebook...she loves blonde jokes.

So many people want to "be seen of men" (i.e. the Pharisees), but I prefer to be out of the spotlight, and in the background. So many folks thing that certain functions "just happen by themselves".
When told at the square dance festival that I could "take a break,
and dance", I reply "No thanks. With working the registration table, I
see everyone who comes in, and can greet them. Besides, you can always
get dancers...you can't always get workers". The same holds true for hamfests, Field Day, etc. It's the ones who work behind the
scene who make it all possible. It's like the song the group Alabama
did several years ago...that finished with "Hello, America. Let me
thank you for your time" -- and it finishes with the start of "America
The Beautiful".
I thought Daryl was the MISSING link.... <g,d,r>
No, I'm COMEDY RELIEF. Without me, the echo would be BORING;
especially with just you and Nancy doing all the talking, and you'd have no one to pick on. <BG>
Howdy! Daryl,
The last two years I was in Junior High School (8th and 9th Grade) I EV>learned that a friend worked behind the stage during Assemblys doing odd EV>jobs like operating the Curtains, adjusting the volume setting on the EV>Sound System, etc., and took me under his wing and taught me the tricks EV>of the trade.

LOL! :D I am glad that Daryl is good-humored.

Good...that means I don't have to risk a feed cut. <BG>
As Roger Rabbit so eloquently put it, "If you don't have a sense of humor...you're better off dead!!".
-a Ya got me there on that one.-a :)

Now would I do anything like that??? <sweet innocent look>
-a As Roger Rabbit so eloquently put it, "If you don't have a sense of humor...you're better off dead!!".
As someone once said, Life is too short to be taken seriously.
I like to think I have a very good sense of humour as do those I associate
with.
I like to think I have a very good sense of humour as do those Iassociate with.
You have to have one...especially when moderating a FIDONet echo. <G>

Not to mention patience. Which I won't mention.

I directed the lighting and sound for a couple of plays back in high school 40 years ago...and in other plays, I was a character in them.
Everything is so important in something like that...even in church cantatas, for Christmas or Easter.

YES!, You ARE A "CHARACTER".
Everything is so important in something like that...even in church cantatas, for Christmas or Easter.
Many years ago (ten years?) a Church in Louisville, Kentucky had a EV>"Living Christmas Tree" concert just before the CHRISTmas season.
The colored lights in the choir loft behind the choir were controlled by EV>a Program ran on a Commodore 64.
