That's all that shows on my card, too... But we also got ourselves a
Part D drug plan to add to it... If one doesn't get it right when one
applies for Medicare, the premium can be much more expensive, as there
is a penalty for not getting it... which gets larger the longer one puts
it off... There are some Part D plans with very low premiums, and then
if you do need something later, you've got the plan... and won't be
charged exorbitant rates for a premium later....

With the prescription drug plan I have (Aetna, I think), I pay $3
for each generic, and $6 for each name brand. Thankfully, I don't have that many prescriptions to worry about.

Sounds like you've got one of the Low Income plans... that's the co-pay
for that sort of plan... :) And generally those come with the premium
paid for you as well, and no deductible....

Not too bad, as long as you are in good shape... :)

    I'm in shape...round's a shape. <G>

    I suppose... ;)

Considering I get barely over $1000 a month in disability (some
months, it's rough)...and you've got these greedy Congress folks whining
that "they can't survive on $175,000 a year". They don't have a clue.

Not too bad, as long as you are in good shape... :)

I believe in the balanced diet...balanced in the belly...and in the
buttocks. <G> One time, after a stress test, my former PCP quipped
"You're not in the best of shape. But, for the shape you're in...you're
    in great shape". :)
