    I can't see why a able bodied person would want a car in the city.
    There are buses, cabs, subways, now Uber and all.
    The only reason I can think of needing a car would be taking home large, bulky items from a store. But how often does that happen? (And
    wouldn't those businesses (other than big box stores) offer some sort of delivery service? Need to ask a guy I know who lived in NYC for years).
    Overall it would seen cost effective in that event to rent a car.
