    Poor DeSoto. Chrysler didn't know what to do with it.
    Over the years it went from a step up from Plymouth, to a step below
    Chrysler trading places with Dodge. Sometimes a step up from Dodge, then a step
    down...
    My dream car is a 1948 DeSoto sedan. It was a lovely looking car to me. Long, somewhat low, with flowing lines, bulbous fenders...
    They were very popular as taxi's.
