    Howdy! All,

    Yesterday I saw a Dandelion near the house as I walked out the door.

    It ain't there no more.

    Thirty Years ago I saw a BBS Message about killing Weeds.
    The writer said to Boil a pot of Water and pour it over each Weed Plant
    to get rid of 'em.

    I have used that method but this time I used a bit of Manual Dexterity.

    At least I could reach down and straighten back up after I did the Dirty
    Deed.

    Yesterday I saw a Dandelion near the house as I walked out the door.

    I've not seen any of those yet, but I have seen some other weeds coming up
    in places they should not be. Need to rip them out ASAP!

    We've had a few already, along with daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips
    are poking out of the ground. Trees are budding, dogwoods in bloom....
    Time for a late cold snap, sleet and snow...

    Dandelions are early food for bees until other flowers and things have blossomed.

    I've not seen any of those yet, but I have seen some other weeds coming up MP>in places they should not be. Need to rip them out ASAP!

    They've issued a GREEN SLIME WATCH here...(aka pollen)...which likely
    will be UPGRADED to a WARNING, then EMERGENCY status in the coming
    days...and the car washes will make a killing for about a month.

    Or, like the cartoon, where there's this huge yellow clump on the car,
    the shrubbery, etc. Mom and Dad are at the window with watery eyes,
    runny nose, Kleenex, etc. -- and their son exclaims "LOOK!! IT POLLENED
    LAST NIGHT!!" :P

    But, but.... Dandelions are a pretty flower, so cheerful and all...
    should have left it grow....
