Things like that would be thrown out of court as frivolous suits
and a waste of the court's time... :)

That's not the way the lawyers see it, what they see, even in cases
    like that, are dollar signs.

That's like the deal with the woman who sued McDonald's (and won)
after the "hot coffee" scalded her groin.

That also was somewhat of a frivolous suit, but had more potential
merit than for uncontrolable bodily functions...

To me someone like that woman shouldn't even have a drivers license in
the first place if she (or anyone else) is that stupid.
Thanks to people like her, now every little accident at work has to be reported. Someone slips and falls on a wet floor (even if they have
those caution signs out which makes the area an obstacle course) because someday they may sue.

I'm waiting for them to file suit against sneezing, belching, and
flatulating in public. For the latter, everyone in the recovery room
after a colonoscopy would be guilty. <G>

I seem to recall reading a story within the last few weeks where
someone in NYC actually did that. Not a lawsuit but filed a police report against some guy who smelled up a subway car from passing gas.
No idea what ever became of it.

I'd comment, but discretion is the better part of valor. :P

However, if one could use the flatulence in your vehicle, I'd buy a
case of Bush's Baked Beans, get the secret formula from "Duke" (it'd be
another one, as the dog who played him, passed away), then tell OPEC
what they could do with their gas prices. It was wild to see regular gas
prices as low as $1.85 in Little Rock before Christmas...but as I
figured, the prices are rising again for the new year.

Sometimes.... If they get hit with too many of those thrown out, they
might stop chasing after them so much...

Oh, I certainly agree... it's like needing to warn people now that
something you are taking out of the oven or the microwave is hot... what
did you think, it would be ice cold, despite your putting in there to be
    warmed up....? <G>

Litigiousness doesn't make a lot of sense....

Sigh.... At least one should be able to be treated first... ;)
