People are so litigious nowadays that they'll sue at the drop of a
hat. I'm waiting for them to file suit for sneezing, belching, and
farting in public. In that case, everyone is in jail. :P

That's like the deal with the woman who sued McDonald's (and won)

That also was somewhat of a frivolous suit, but had more potential merit
than for uncontrolable bodily functions...

I personally never acquired a taste for it...and I rarely
drink tea or Coca-Cola anymore. My beverage of choice now is flavored water; and I drink 1 to 2 liters of it a day. To me, plain tap water is just too bland.

I'd rather drink the flavored water to tap (even filtered) water,
also... Coffee is another thing I'm allergic to, though I do miss it...

Called the bluff.... She recognized that the kid was blowing hot
air.... and he obviously knew better than to push her too far.... :)

Depends on the kid... and on the youth home...

Yep. Some of the overnight vet clinics really charge a huge
fee...just like the regular emergency rooms.

True. However, I can't afford a pet now...monetarily, and because of
my own health issues...even though Janice got me biased toward
dachshunds.

Pets are an expense, and do require some care....

Janice would've loved "Crusoe The Celebrity Dachshund".
His owners Ryan Beauchesne, and his girl friend, Lauren, are "Crusoe's parents". But, Ryan makes 90% of the costumes for Crusoe, who doesn't
mind wearing them, and he does a bunch of videos, that have gone
viral. Crusoe has a huge following on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram,
etc. He won "The People's Choice Awards" for "Animal of 2018".

And you can vicariously enjoy his antics.... :)

Too many "ambulance chasers" nowadays, looking to make a quick buck.

I'd rather drink the flavored water to tap (even filtered) water,
also... Coffee is another thing I'm allergic to, though I do miss it...

To me, tap water is too bland. I can drink 1 to 2 liters of flavored
water a day.

And you can vicariously enjoy his antics.... :)
