    When I was in grade school we were to take home a form to "adopt" a
    overseas child. I didn't like that idea. I thought we literally adopted
    this upstart who would then be the baby. :)

    Did you get disabused of that idea....? and did you end up helping to
    support some overseas kid, after all....?
