I'm the same way, though I do have a credit card (with a $200 cap) I
use once in a while to keep it active and pay off at the end of the

Useful for keeping a credit record....

I am fortunate I have few expenses and able to save most of my pay cheques. I try to live on about $40 a month for "extras".
I don't want to go back to the days fearing each phone call was
from collector dunning me.

At one point we had a slew of those... not fun at all... thankfully
those days are far behind us now... :)

(The only fear now is my captain wanting me to work that day. <g>)

Now that's a legitimate fear.... <G>

Anymore instead of asking what he wants its "OK, I'll be there" knowing
what he wants.
Of course being retired I have nothing to do but sit around staring at
four walls hoping the ring will ring. :/ <g>
