    That's what I figured.... :)

    Several years ago I sitting here minding my own business. A cat I
    had then always wanted to come and go as she pleased, so my door was cracked open.
    I noticed someone looking at me through the partly open door and it
    was a senior officer. He had been trying to get hold of me for some
    job. I used to turn my phone off a lot.
    I asked "How did you get in here!" He said he had waited nearly an
    hour outside for someone to come or go and just came in when the door
    was opened.

    Persistent... indeed.... Did you end up going to cover the job...?

    With retirement, investments, no debts, etc I don't need to
    work so all that is just gravy.
    Just can't get away for your Grand Tour.... ;)

    Yes I did. ==sigh==
    It was a post I didn't care for, a drug rehab place. Worked
    0430-1100ish. The part I disliked was being outside the whole time in
    the cold. The "clients" weren't a problem.
    Saw all sorts of people there.
    They came in like 90 minute waves.
    The first group in new BMW's, Cadillac's, etc.
    The second wave were in Mercury's, Pontiac's, etc.
    And on down the scale until the final group in old beaters, etc.
    The whole strata of society in one shift. And all with drug problems.
    The last group had little kids with them...
