    Yesterday I got a call to fill in for a guy where I work weekends.
    When I arrived the woman I was relieving asked about the guy and I
    said I had gotten a call a couple of hours before he was going to
    hospital for something and didn't know anything else. She said she
    was happy the boss doesn't have her home phone number. I sighed and
    said I wished he didn't have mine either. :)

    Of course, had the boss wanted her to continue for another shift, she
    wouldn't have been at home to get the call, and he could just as easily
    rung her up at work to ask... ;) Or was she worrying about the next
    day's shifts....? ;)

    But there is nothing much to do there, I take my laptop (except on a weekend in when I fill in for the woman above from time to time. Take
    my tablet then) and do pretty much there what I would be doing at home
    and getting paid for it! :)

    True, can't beat that.... :)

    With retirement, investments, no debts, etc I don't need to
    work so all that is just gravy.

    Just can't get away for your Grand Tour.... ;)

    There are times when they want to find you they will.
    Several years ago I sitting here minding my own business. A cat I had
    then always wanted to come and go as she pleased, so my door was cracked
    open.
    I noticed someone looking at me through the partly open door and it was
    a senior officer. He had been trying to get hold of me for some job. I
    used to turn my phone off a lot.
    I asked "How did you get in here!" He said he had waited nearly an
    hour outside for someone to come or go and just came in when the door was opened.
