Easy way to find out which car(s) you liked, that way... you could
change out to another car whenever you wished... ;)

One time selling Fords this fella came by and brought a '69 Chrysler and wrote a cheque for it.
A few days later that cheque came bouncing back.
Our repo man got on the case and tracked the guy down. He had traded that car on another somewhere in VA. Wrote a bad cheque on that car as well and they had someone after him.
Apparently he would buy a car, write a cheque, go to another town/state trade
it in, etc.
The VA state police finally caught up with him. He resisted arrest saying he
wasn't going back to jail and there was a shoot out, with him on the losing end.
Eventually that Chrysler wound up back with us. The boss said I was to drive
it, as a reminder of taking bad cheques, till I sold it, and a good sale.
It was a couple of weeks later it was gone and never heard from again. :)

got my Shadow, we wanted a manual transmission in a sedan (not a
coupe)... nothing like that on the lot, so we had to order it...

I much prefer a stick over automatic anyway.
I always get a chuckle reading about some dumb crooks who steal or carjack a car only to find its a stick and they can't drive it. :)

That's before our time.. at least with Volvos... ;) Richard's is a V70, mine an S60R... ;)

When I sold them (or attempted to, never sold one, but did other makes) the 240 and 260 were the main cars they made.
I hated that hard plastic headrest they had at the time. Made they made the car appear cheap.
