When they got to him, he was already dead, and rigor mortis had
already set in...I think he was only 39.
So young.
I do remember meeting him (one of my Dad's brothers) over 50 years
ago. Out of our family, only myself, my brother, my Mom, and one of
my Dad's sisters, are left...all the rest have passed away. So, we're
the last of our line.
First time I've heard of a contract for the echo moderators...but I
guess that has been a secret all these years. <G>
I won't mention how it has to be signed in one's own blood. :)
Like the blood contract Tom Sawyer had to sign in the movie...I
remember that Johnnie Whitaker (Jody in Family Affair) played Tom...Jodi
Foster (the one who was in the original Coppertone logo, caught with her
pants down, thanks to her poodle), played Becky Thatcher...and Robert
Fuller (who played Dr. Kelly Brackett in "Emergency") was Becky's
father.
That movie also had the "backside" shot of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn
"skinny dipping" (swimming in the nude). Combine that with Jodi Foster's
deal, and it proves "we're all the same from the back side". <G>
One of Huck Finn's lines, when he had to "go to church" with this one
kind lady, was so mad that "I had to cuss for 10 minutes to get the
taste back in my mouth!!". Tom also took the paddling that Becky was
supposed to get in school...that's love.
