need. At the moment there are zero Russians in the neighbourhood requesting a CP866 Fidonet wireless connection. I suspect that won't
be changing soon.

just binkd for msg and other file transfers. As we speak it isn't
seeing much local traffic.

The problem with mesh is that it is extremely selective about
wireless chipsets and there aren't many readily available that can
handle it, which might actually be a good thing.
However at the moment I have one neighbour who needs me to be running hostapd so she can connect with her Android based smartphone. Too bad
they can't mesh as that would definetly make them far more useful.
As is they make good paperweights ... as long as they don't catch
