• IPv6 Node - What to do?

From Philipp Giebel@1:2320/100 to All on Fri May 19 11:20:38 2017
    Hey everybody!

I wondered if I need to do anything else than adding an AAAA Record for my domain listed at the nodelist and make binkd listen on both ipv4 and v6 to become an IPv6 node..?

It's native IPv6 from the Hetzner Datacenter, I'm in and I've just added the AAAA record for my binkp-domain.

    Cheers,
    Philipp

    No.

    It works.

When using the default port number, like 24554 for binkp, the SRV record does _not_ provide any valuable information and, therefore, is redundant.

There are two camping here. I am here for the yearly hamfest.

    www.radiokampweek.nl.

Most hams are on the other camping on the other side of the road. But this is the one with IPv6 on the WiFi. ;-

So far it is the only camping I have been that has IPv6. IPv4 only is stiil the

    norm for public WiFi. :(
