You should have a system reacheable on IPv6 for that...
But because 221/6 is IPv4 only,

OOps, my mistake. I got my laptop connected via the wrong WiFi asscess point. That one is IPv4 only. I now had it linked via my IPv6 capable WiFiAP.
I had 280/5555.1 send file test via IPv6.
No response yet...
I will now try from mt main system:
+ 10:48 [1340] call to 2:221/6@fidonet

So why does it work from 280/5555 and not from 280/5555.1?

See my previous message. Your .1 is not nodelisted. :)
TK> "Calling ipv6.dynamic.ziggo.nl". :)all...
So maybe using the back resolved hostname is not such a good idea after
I remomebr us having a discussion about Privacy Extension numbers. You called the IP number on which the call was received. That did not alway
work with Privay Extensions enabled. My system(s) are now configured to anwser on PE addresse as well.
I removed the "backresolv" from the binkd conf, and commented it so
that I wont accidentally turn it back on.
You may test again if you wish.
Anyways IMHO reverse dns is not set right at ziggo. :)
