Yes. Also the TediArgus should not be able to make outbound ipv6 calls without proxy. Perhaps Bj%rn tells us what is going on.

Anyway, no mailer answering on 2001:1608:10:199:a::208.
Not on port 24554 and not on port 24555.

But if you check incoming connections from 2:221/0 aka 2:221/1 aka 2:221/360, you'll see the outbound proxy ipv6 address, which may not accept inbound calls either.

Always call out by the nodelist. :)

2001:1608:10:199:a::208 is the IPv6 address of the port proxy. I would not call
it a fake address, it is a "real" address, it pings.

But of course there is no binkp server answering at that address. Port proxies normally operate just one way.

With IPv4 one could usually call back on the same IPv4 address. With IPv6 that is not a given...

binkp is a ip free streaming protocol, it runs on top of haproxy, squid, and other types of streams data, eg old modems with a dial tone, there is nothing escential to need any knowledge of ipv4 or ipv6, or even ipv10 to confuse even more

so can you tell me atleast why you belive its diffrent on ipv4 ?

is it diffrent on modems ?

i like to learn more atleast, to stop all the fake news :=)
