Is there something specific? I'm not an ARRL member and I haven't heard
of anything in particular - BUT - we are going to be at Gencon the
weekend before and planning to time it right so we are in the path
of totality at the right time as we head south from Indy...

I will be at work (like I am now) but I will still get out and view at least a good part of the eclipse as I'm less than 100 miles from the
    path of totality.

More info (and you don't have to be an ARRL member): http://hamsci.org/solar-eclipse-qso-party

Well, I haven't been back on the BBS until today, so I didn't see this
    in time... BUT!

We stopped in Kentucky to view it! Awesome! I was talking to people
on the 9200 Reflector as long as we were close enough. :-)

There was even some 2m simplex traffic (I forget the 'national
    frequency').

... Alex, I'll take "things that only I know" for $1000.
