That he does not accept unlisted points is one thing, but refusing to accept unlisted nodes is a nono for an RC/NC. How is he going to accept a request for a new node?

That's fine. My boss node is also my Fido uplink, so we kind of keep testing each other all the time. :)

Weird, as I have changed the binkp settings to allow unsecured connections and have restarted the service.

Will contact the author to see what are his thoughts on the matter.

Traditionally, here in Brazil the new node requests come through either
email or via the local BR.BBSING area.

Nevertheless, I will contact Ioram about this and ask him to make the change.
