Yes. F1 has become unstable, and is no longer available.

I can't find the ALT key on my Vic-20.

Speaking of Vic-20. If I dared you to write a BBS for that, would you dare me to write a mailer for it? (Lets agree that the 16k Expander Cartridge would be needed?)

I ran a BBS on the Vic. It was awefully slow. I had to juryrig a handset cradle. Vicmodem? What? I can't remember the name of the software, but I was sure excited when I got my C64C. <grin>

I know that there was at least two mailers for the C64.

I have yet to see a Fido mailer for the Vic-20... I know its technically possible, even if it just does the bare-minimum FTS-0001 but a real challenge to cram that all in 16k. Not to mention storage of messages/packets... I'm guessing the cassette drive won't do, haha

I think the 22x23 text display just ruins it for me. Give me at least 40x25!

no thanks to wordperfect which changed the help key to F3 IIRC...

i still much prefer wordstar touch-typist keys to any others ;)

Yes. The nicest thing was that even WS was keystroke-compatible with everything else in the early business computing universe. I wonder how they did that.
