• Any suggestions?

From David Veatch@1:2320/100 to All on Wed Nov 19 12:32:18 2003
    Hi, Everyone:

Well, my Amiga-2000 has apparently died on me. :-( I went to fire
it up yesterday, the power supply kicks on, the hard drive spins up,
but I get no picture on the screen, and the boot-up procedure never
    initiates.

I tried starting it up several times, by turning it on/off for a
minute or two, and then flipping the switch on again, but same results,
    i.e. no bootup occurs.

Would anyone have any suggestions as to what the probable culprit
might be? Any and all info that you might care to pass along - would
be appreciated, even if it turns out to be a lost cause.

Does the caps lock led flash, or the power led?

Remove all expansion boards and check if the box works. Then re-insert one card
after the other to check which one is causing the problem. Maybe the
    harddisk
itself is dead, or it's time to switch around CIA chips to see if this is the problem. Do you have any non-standard colors on-screen when booting (that is something else than light grey and dark grey)?
