  • The infamous Amiga T-shirts!

    Hi all:
    Well, I'm kind of stuned. People around the world - Australia. England, U.K - are reporting about getting Amiga T-shirts. Wow. finally! How long was that...
    In the beginning of May 2002, Eyetech announced the new AmigaOne was on sale and June, Club Amiga was formed with the promise of T-shirts and $50 coupon. We kissed the $50 goodbye and wondered about that T-shirt. 2003 & 2004 have witnessed the changes to Amiga Inc., umm - Kmos and various battles with the 'dark tower' aka Genisi/Mos. But, 2005 starts out with the long lost T-shirts promis -- imagine that. It's not prank or any BBRV mischief. It's the real deal. :-)
    How about this, huh?

    Spot? Like the mail program? It would probabily breakdown at the hardware IO

    if anything. I haven't found any terminals that will work with the A1: Ncomm, VLTjr, Term. OS4 Romupdate.cfg points to A1serial.device in Sys:Devs. ? What can I say. I had to get rid of CatweaselIII after Update#1; totally incompatible. OTOH, AmIRC 3.5 runs perfectly. How do figure that out? CygnusED4.2 runs real good,
    same for GoldEdv5, WW7, Pagestream. I think it's all about well written programs in 68K code; they will work. Each upgrade takes the A1 deeper & deeper

    into ELF! :) Where in hell is that Petunia?
