• Amiga Hardware Suppliers in Australia ???

From Craig Hutchison@1:2320/100 to John Kelly on Tue Oct 21 18:24:42 2003
    G'day John,

In a message dated 20 Oct 03 you wrote to All:

I'm looking to resurrect my old A500 that I bought about 15 years ago,
and am trying to track down a couple of things in Australia for it..

    1. An Amiga mouse ... DSE used to stock them, but they're probably long gone

    2. A 1.3/2.0 Kickstart switcher

Any information would be appreciated - eBay items here in Australia for the Amiga seem few and far between..

You could try the AUG here in Melbourne. http://www.aug.org.au will find their website.

The AUG periodically holds an auction of hardware. I remember selling my own three-way KS switcher there a year or so back.

There's also a yahoo groups mailing list that sees quite a deal of traffic.

    Cache Ya,
    Craig.

if yoy have enough ram you could diskload a kickstart rom, but if you can get hold of a 3.1 rom you get most power of it, http://www.amiga.com/

if you need to have diffrent roms to play the old games you can do this by using a degrader tool, http://www.aminet.net/
